Meet Olga – soon-to-be dog mama and a dancer

How is it going?

Everything is good, thanks! Working energetically, waiting for the holidays, and enjoying every day of this beautiful summer!

What has been on your mind lately?

Many things actually. Something always happens that triggers me to think about one thing or another. For example, I came across a blog about numerology and energies each of us gets assigned at birth and the importance of developing our best qualities by following the “positive” path so to say. Being a bit skeptical in the beginning, I realized that numbers don’t lie and getting personal analysis sets a good direction for self-development. Also dog training and self-education about having a dog have been a lot on my mind recently as a new family member is about to join us very soon. Never had a dog before but very excited about it!

What’s the most recent change in you?

I think I got more stress-resistant, that’s what my close people say and I feel as well. I got more capable of taking big workload for a long period of time and not burning out fast. I have also brought sport back to my life and feel very happy about it as this is my main stress reliever. Just need to bring dance back to it as well and then I’ll be even happier 🙂

What song would you recommend to someone?

Depends what someone likes… I’d suggest to explore Radio Garden – a really cool thing! The rotating globe with radio stations – you can listen to radio from any part of the world, never gets boring and I think everyone would find something to their liking.

What is your favourite place in the whole world?

Home, sweet home, a small town in Russia where I grew up – always brings me smile and nostalgic feelings when I think about it. It’s the place where everything is familiar and simple, where I can always get support and be understood and where summer nights are light as day, and winter days are dark as nights.

Who knows you the best?

People that are really close to me like my parents and my partner.

If you weren’t doing what you are doing now, in what other profession you could see yourself in?

Dancing has always been my passion and my love and as a child I’ve often imagined myself being a choreographer. With time this childhood dream faded but love for dancing is still here and will always be. Right now I could maybe see myself as an interior designer. It is a combination of creative and technical work which I think I would enjoy. I’ve been watching Home redesign kind of TV shows since young age, even took one online course on this topic and now “practice” design skills at home from time to time 🙂 It’s not that I’m very good at it, but I enjoy it.

Your title is CRM Campaign Coordinator – what do you tell your relatives you do for work?

I say to them: “You know all those promotional emails that you receive to your inbox? They usually include some product advertising or offers..? So, I make sure that the email you receive looks good, links work, words are spelled correctly, images are in places and so on. I coordinate all these details between different departments and different countries, so that the end result is good.”

How do you see the year 2021?

Positively, but as any other year, with its ups and downs. Just hope that there would be less sick people and world would become more open again.

What do you think is the most interesting thing happening in the world now?

Undoubtedly, switch to remote everything: work, events, education, shopping, dating, and even medicine. Online is overtaking real in many aspects and as to everything, there are positive and negative sides. Curious to see what will stay remote and what will come back to old normal, whether personal relationships will get stronger or weaker and whether we’ll be lonelier or happier… Time will show.
