Meet Antti – a football fan and a Creative

How is it going? 

Great, thanks. More sun means more time and sports to spend and do outdoors. That’s nice. And UEFA Euro 2020 is here, with Finland playing in it, so it’s going to be exciting.

What has been on your mind lately?  

Since the the first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, and we know dark matter interacts with gravity, but does not reflect, absorb or emit light, could our soul be a form of energy in dark matter. And ghosts an anomaly in that energy. 

What’s the most recent change in you? 

Because of Covid limitations there has been less team sports, indoor sports and so on, so I’ve started jogging regularly. 

What song or book would you recommend to someone?  

There’s quite a lot of new and good music available today, so I choose a book called “Exhalation: Stories” by American writer Ted Chiang. It’s a collection short stories that make you think different themes, a bit like the series Black Mirror did. 

What is your favourite place in the whole world?  


If you weren’t doing what you are doing now, in what other profession you could see yourself in?  

Professional footballer. I just couldn’t make up my mind between Paris Saint Germain, Newcastle United and Inter Milan so I thought, what the hell, I’ll just be a copywriter instead. 

Your title is “copywriter” – what do you tell your relatives you do for work?  

That I’m a helicopter pilot at the Finnish Border Guard. That explains why I’m sometimes tired after “heavy night at the sea”.

What do you like about your job?  

Jumping into different perspectives and clients. 

How do you see the year 2021? 


What do you think is the most interesting thing happening in our field now?  

Tardigrades. Being only 0.5 mm long, eight-legged segmented micro-animals, with four pairs of legs, each ending in claws or suction disks and with a form basically indestructible to radiation, heat, cold, dehydration, pressure, toxins and Jodel, I think we could really use more tardigrades in marketing and advertising.
